Itineraries

Day 1

Arrival in Zanzibar

We will pick you up from the airport and transfer to Zanzibar Stone Town, the old city and cultural heart of Zanzibar. This place had minimal change in the last 200 years hence your chance to experience its well-preserved heritage and exotic antiquity. You will stay at Tembo House Hotel equipped with a swimming pool among other amenities such as WiFi and television.

Day 2

: Stone Town Walking Tour

Today after morning breakfast, with the help of our guide. You will start a tour in this town. It is only place in the coast of Indian Ocean were many historical events are manifested. For stance a visit to Zanzibar museum, Zanzibar ruins, the former cathedral and mosques. You will have the chance also to visit market and taste the hospitality of people of Zanzibar. In the evening, depart from the hotel for a sunset tour along Stone Town waterfront. You will have dinner in one of restaurants before overnight at Tembo Hotel/Forodhani park view hotel.

Day 3

Prison Island Trip

Prison Island enjoy your half day guided tour which can begins and ends at Stone town of Zanzibar. This is very historical Island just off the coast of Stone town and it’s a quick of just 20-30 minutes by boat ride trip from the old stone town’s waterfront.

Prison Island Zanzibar and It’s fringed with a lovely white sand beach and a small coral reef, which is a deal for Snorkeling making it ideal for a spot of Prison Island Zanzibar snorkeling and sunbathing. You can hire masks and flippers before you depart stone town or once you have landed at the Prison Island Zanzibar.

Today Prison Island Zanzibar is known for its excellent views of Stone Town and for its giant tortoises imported from Aldabra in the Seychelles in the late 19th century and best birds of Peacocks’ type. They stand up to a rather staggeringly one meter high,could feasibly be hundreds of years old,and are frequently seen copulating!

The Prison Island Zanzibar is highly recommended as great deal for swimming,sunbathe and snorkeling, Diving and other sea sports adventures, please don’t forget your swimming suite with you while visiting Prison Island overnight at Tembo Hotel/Forodhani park views

Day 4

Spice Farm tour or Jozani Forest Trip

Excursion to the spice and fruit plantations close to Stone town for the famous Spice Tour. We have developed a special Spice Tour with in depth information not only about spices, but also organically grown herbs and a detailed description about their traditional uses in medicine cosmetics and cooking. After the tour we invite for an opulent lunch at our guides’ home, where you can taste the spices and fruits. After lunch we take you to your beach resort.

On the way you pass Jozani Forest, the last habitat of the rare endemic Red Colobus Monkey. With a local guide you stroll through Jozani Chwaka National Park and look at the rare monkeys. If you wish you can even wander down the boardwalk to the fascinating Mangrove Ecosystem. Dinner and overnight stay at Tembo Hotel/Forodhani park hotel

Day 5

Departure

free time on your own depending on your flight schedule and departure point you will be transferred to the Zanzibar Airport to take a flight to your other extensions.

Your tour will conclude in Zanzibar on Day 5 of the trip. There are no activities planned for this day so you're free to depart at any time. We highly recommend booking post-accommodation to give yourself time to fully experience the wonders of this iconic city!

Day 1 of this tour is an arrivals day, which gives you a chance to settle into your hotel and explore Zanzibar City. The only planned activity for this day is an evening welcome meeting at 7pm, where you can get to know your guides and fellow travellers. Please be aware that the meeting point is subject to change until your final documents are released

We provide English speaking chauffeurs for individual tours. For group tours, English speaking tour escorts would accompany the groups. During sightseeing involving historically important places or monuments, we provide English speaking local guides who are well knowledged in history and culture. We could even provide guides who speak French, German and Japanese, only on advanced booking.

Tipping is not included in any of our packages and it is left the discretion of the travellers. Though not compulsory, tipping is expected by one and all involved in the service industry. We would recommend carrying small change in your pocket. Tips to Guides or other services rendered (Highly recommended)

We accept children of all ages to travel on safari and believe it is a wonderful experience for families to travel together. For children to make the most out of their travels, we suggest looking into one of our special family itineraries. We have car seats available for very young children. Please bear in mind, some of the accommodation have minimum age restrictions, so please inform us of the age of your child/children
