Itineraries

Day 1

Arrival to Tanzania

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our professional safari guide/driver. They will assist you with your luggage and escort you on a comfortable transfer to Arusha Coffee Lodge, where you can relax and unwind after your journey. The lodge is nestled amidst one of Tanzania's largest coffee plantations, offering a serene and luxurious environment to begin your adventure.

Day 2

Arusha National Park

Your day begins with a peaceful pre-breakfast birding walk around the lodge grounds, where you can spot vibrant fire finches, dazzling variable sunbirds, Bulbuls, and the Olive Thrush among the lush surroundings. After a hearty breakfast, you'll set off for Arusha National Park with packed lunches in hand. At the park, you'll visit the picturesque crater lakes, where you'll have the chance to see a variety of waterfowl, including Maccoa ducks, Egyptian geese, Hottentot teal, Comb ducks, and other unique waders. As the day draws to a close, you will return to Arusha Coffee Lodge for a delightful dinner and a comfortable overnight stay, ready for the adventures to come.

Day 3

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, we will depart for Tarangire National Park, a hidden gem on the Northern Safari Circuit, located just south of the expansive grasslands of Maasailand. Known for its iconic baobab trees and large elephant herds, Tarangire offers a unique and diverse wildlife experience. Enjoy a full-day game drive through the park, where you'll have the chance to spot lions, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of birdlife, all while soaking in the stunning landscapes. In the late afternoon, we will drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, you will check in at Lemala Ngorongoro Tented Camp, where dinner and a cozy overnight stay await. Prepare to rest and recharge for the exciting day ahead at the Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater back to Arusha

After breakfast, we'll make our way down into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, a true natural wonder. This extinct volcano, which collapsed around 25 million years ago, forms a vast "super bowl" that is home to an incredible variety of wildlife. As we explore the crater floor, you can expect to see nearly every major game species, including the "Big Five" — lions, elephants, rhinos, leopards, and buffalo. After a rewarding game drive and a picnic lunch in this stunning setting, we will return to Arusha, where your safari adventure will come to an end. You'll be transferred to your hotel or the airport, filled with unforgettable memories of your journey.

Your tour will conclude in Arusha on Day 4 of the trip. There are no activities planned for this day so you're free to depart at any time. We highly recommend booking post-accommodation to give yourself time to fully experience the wonders of this iconic city.

Day 1 of this tour is an arrivals day, which gives you a chance to settle into your hotel and explore Arusha City. The only planned activity for this day is an evening welcome meeting at 7pm, where you can get to know your guides and fellow travellers. Please be aware that the meeting point is subject to change until your final documents are released.
